late post [eng. class + KOREA "business" trip]

I'M SO SORRY, I DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER FOR SUCH A LONG TIME...

I wanted to write about my class right away last week but work work work! And then Light Salt decided to send me and my supervisor to KOREA.

First short report on how class went on 12/1 (Tue): Two brothers fought over who gets to keep points for the game and when the younger brother lost in a battle of "rock paper and scissor", he ran out of the room, crying for nearly half an hour. Worst thing about that? I couldn't enter the boy's room to get him back. The was the worst thing that happened last week but I'm real happy that a lot of students took notes last week. I gave out "early Christmas" presents, which were really only the beautiful notebooks I bought on sale; Surprisingly, quite a few of my "mean boys" took notes eagerly that class. And the boy who thought he wasn't worthy of getting the most points and getting a present from the class before? He won AGAIN. [And he asked if he could buy one of my notebooks for his girlfriend LOL]

OK, KOREA!
I arrived on the night of 12/6, dragged my broken suitcase (it was still fine at the airport =3=) and checked in at ACACIA HOTEL. As I've mentioned before, I work at a NPO that buy wholesale clothes and sell them for charity. All the profits go to job training for single moms, children that come from families with single parent or financial problems and a bunch of other Christian organizations...... Unlike the wholesale markets in China, Dongdaeman is open to wholesale dealers after the sun goes down. Seoul doesn't sleep. My work hours these days are like: 9PM~12AM, 7AM~10AM, 7PM~3AM. It's 7:06 PM right now and En-Chi (my supervisor) and I are going to leave pretty soon. AT the moment, I'm having a hard time typing because of all the blisters and wounds on my hands: Carrying some 20 pounds of clothes is not an unusual scene in the market. We plan on coming back to pack up after the sun comes up because we have a plane to catch. WHEW~ These business trips are NOT at all easy but it's fun (just wish I had a CAR here). I finally got the rubber band noodle I missed so much after leaving Korea in September but it was so sour I had a toothache.

I have to leave NOW so I'll update soon :)
P.S.
I found the perfect little black dress :D
